I Was a 12 Year Old Rock Star

My goal with this Blog has been to bring a full on, and faithful positivity that sparkles like gemstones in an attractive setting. I did truly think that such a thing would come naturally for a writer like myself, as it has so easily before. Then life happened. I have an old saying that I like to bring out when folks just need to be cheered up a bit. That would be “life sucks, but so do you”. I finally was able to open this empty page to add to the title. Now, I do not wish to be “like-a-downer” on things, yet feel that the green light issue should be completed. I am not only retired, a gal on her cell phone that apparently did not realize a mere bicycle could enact a green arrow, totally freaked, and came at me! I no longe ride! I drove around that other day out of boredom. A young lady sat at a green obviously talking to her bestie. (Just like the other girl.) I was relaxed and moving toward her. I saw her hand being held up to her ear, and her mouth moving. The 90 yr. old man got confused. He thought that she must be waiting for a right hand on red. Dude only needed 10 more seconds. After he smacked my back end, I spun around. I looked up only to see the light finally change, after just a few more seconds. Old dude asked me twice “she was there, right, she was there,,,,…right”? Yes, I let him know, she was actually there, at a green light with no cars behind her on that slow sleepy street. A guy then talking to his pregnant wife at a stop light, hit me after I rolled a bit forward. The cop from the other accident was a witness. So it is now back to a wonderful sense of grand, and beautiful existence. (I will stay in today and work on projects!)
