It is raining. Once the water accumulates enough, I will know if my repair job was adequate. The old roof over the brick patio is beginning to collapse. There are four possible down-spout drain areas. I just closed off the nearer of those. The two in the middle are holding up. The far left drain is open and flowing. After ice formed under the leaky side, the corner lifted up from the ground, causing even more of an off-balance level. Until I can dig a hole underneath that corner to lower the base, the water may build up and finally overflow onto the ground! What has come up even more so, is my thoughts of snow and cold. have I mentioned that the wind blew so cold that I couldn’t feel l my pants legs! So now, I am getting ready for the 90s or so. I may carry around a small business size edition of this Christmas card. I mentioned to a fellow walking past last year, that in the old days a person would hold up their arms at the elbows, hoping for a breeze. That was known as “Air Conditioning”.
