I normally would not choose to present something so raunchy, so clearly vulgar, and something so very far from a normal form of medical presumption as my subject of the day. If you are old enough (58-88) you may so very easily recognize the origins of the phrasing “oh they were just blowin’ smoke” (blowin’ smoke up you ass that is!) Yes, it is true. They would utilize the abilities of this “smoking-gun-enema” contraption! Now who the heck knew that, or was old enough to remember it, as far as the tobacco smoke part. (I am not quite certain if certain Native American tribes would have been more than just a bit put off by the very thought of a ceremonial product being put to use in such a dramatically unconventional approach to good health). I am now wondering something weird. Could an individual become “buzzed” if they used the best weed ever, to blow up their butts. I have come to know about a type of legal-weed (depending on what state you live in!) that has somehow become infused with even more magical powers. (THC value) From what I have imagined, they take a hypo’ and squirt in the special juice power from a separate plant. Thus the new high grade end result is nearly illegal in all States, as well as Puerto Rico. If you know my story you know that I developed full on Manic Depression (just like the Hendrix song), and could not sleep for more than two days, back in ’76 after having smoked regularly for about 5 months. Have you ever heard of the term ‘wild & crazy” guy. It’s good to meet you. An outright claim by our elders back in the day is that we would get high, and play loud music all of the time. Eventually we would need hearing aids, and it wouldn’t be fair for all of the straights to have to pay for those. I mean, after all , we would automatically become such total losers that we couldn’t even afford our own devices. (Okay, you’ve got me there!) But when I go into a bar for a glass of ice water and secretly wear my hearing aids, I ask the gal to please turn it up a bit. I then adjust my power-ear specials, and so, toe-toe-totally (yes my word from a 4th grade spelling test back in 1970.) rock out “big-time” (a locally used expression that existed well before the song came out! It was truthfully lifted from a ’40s era film). All in all, I’ve heard just about as much music as a human being could possibly bring in, in even one very long lifetime. I will do my best to not “hook up” the total surround sound system (with a single, plug in bass- boomer speaker for the middle. that makes it a “disco stereo”) I have hidden down here from Mother! I still dream about cranking it, for the rel’s when they come for a visit. The system was on sale down from $648.95, to $484.59. That was at the old Radio Shack stores maybe around 1988 or so That was back when I had dubbed it nothing more than a disco option. Down here I will place that boomer underneath the stairs to add even a bit more mystery to where all of the music is coming from. Just think of me when I’m out to lunch on another far out rock number. You will be pleased, enthralled, captivated, and even elevated from such an imaginary experience that I am actually the whole while “all-in” on.
