I Will Forge Ahead

With what may be the mid-summer point (July 15th) has come and gone. I will continue to be diligent about smothering my so soon to be exposed body parts with sunscreen. The smoke from up-north has eased its way on down and over here. It is Mother that tends to be overly concerned with any one aspect that a new day has to offer. The guys from The Local Charitable Foundation blew me off, and continued to drive past my storage facility, even after my honking, and desparite hand waving. They pulled over blocking traffic somewhat! They tried to call me! Even though I was supposed to wait for up to two hours with temps in the 90s, I had the storage worker call, after my having waited for well over an hour. She offered nicely to call, and said that the truck had been there before. I had set the whole adventure up just the day before. Dude from the charity claimed that because I didn’t “pick-up” they just kept on driving to their next pickup! I was like “they were on the wrong street, driving in the wrong direction, just before I honked and waved. They even pulled over and blocked traffic behind them, just a bit. Here though it was my fault, even though I stood outside the only building on that corner for 1/2 hour! Dude says they can be there at 1:00pm. I drove miles and waited for almost two hours, and now he wants me to wait for one more! Do you know that people on their phones caused the last three accidents that I was in? I was on a bicycle the one time, yet I am supposed to sit there on my phone, waiting for them to verify, even though they just drove past that facility on the wrong side of the building, while driving past the actual street that they needed to be on! Hell no! I just updated my Craig’s listing but don’t have photos with that stuff being in storage. Anyway, I will have to have my phone nearby, at least when I’m home here. No poem, song of the day for now. I may come back later, after I stop at my favorite place. The $1.25 store that would surely be!
