The Coast Is Clear

With the dawning of a new era of my greatness, I am planning to bring my Queen’s bed here from storage. I have dropped the price of my “like new” appliances, to $100.00 each. It’s like I can’t even shop those sweet honeys without a righteous photo op. If I reached as far as possible over the oven I could get the freezer part of the fridge, and only the tops of the washer dryer combo on film. I have kept the blue, clear-like plastic coverings over the top, where the dials and settings are. I am waiting for a call back from the “free-appliance’ removal place. One would so readily consider that over $2,000.00 worth of like-new appliances would go just like that. NOT! When the Salvation Army guys passed me up, with me honking and waving, while they pulled over at the old White Hen’s Pantry I had felt that all would go well. They never came back. Dud(e) on the phone was like “can you wait until 1:00pm”? So, from 10:00am until One in the afternoon, I am supposed to be out there in the mid 90s weather, so that I can give away thousands of dollars of appliances. I think that I will rent a truck and dump those little bitches off behind the Salvation Army warehouse area. How do you like me now dispatch officer that claimed that I should have had my phone, when I was waitng outside my storage facility for 40 minutes. I had just verified the pick up minutes before I went over. I waited in that heat for 45 minutes, and then for 40 more at the front gate. Alas, my blog was meant to be an “only positive” experience for both myself, and all of you. Please allow me to start my day once again. I will be kind. I will be joyous. I will be considerate. I will be aware. I will not judge too quickly. (I mean if a car is going to turn into a local business or is just changing lanes!) I will accept my assumptions that you all are the coolest, most interesting, most loving people that could ever be. In addition, you would lend me $10,000.00, if I really needed it, for a just cause. You as well, would not wait for me, a grown man, to walk directly in front of your car, regardless! (We were taught to wait for moving vehicles back in the early 60s.) Hold it! Let me start over. I will smile and wave you past, instead of turning my back to you while moving away. Red light, crosswalk, or otherwise, I need you to go first, or I will feel old! No poem today.
