I have been here, with my things in storage. I have a set of mini trinkets, involving any number of what may be considered “vantasy” figures. Perhaps I’ll scan those for my Photo Shoot, the next time. The song being referenced with my headline, would be from yesterday’s listing. That minor hit came with a “video”, back around ’81, or so. That vid’ from “Garden Party”, involved the roguish, street urchin, ruffian group, hiding next to the stream running by one of the “Father’s” homes. In today’s world, so far removed from the early ’60s, such a circumstance fails to maintain a rigid hold on societal reasoning. With Father having had 2 wives, 2 jobs, and two families, an extra bro’, or two would have been of no surprise. Such meanderings down memory lane do little for my retired self in any regard. I have begun however to “warm-up” on my 6-string. I have about 3 to 5 years to come up with something to play, or another form of inspiration for the youngest nephew’s boy to latch onto. Did you read my book? You would know then that I once had a violin of my very own. It was made of plastic, and cost $1.79 at the old WoolWorth’s. I didn’t have it for long though. (Think “Devil Went Down To Georgia” by The Charlie Daniels Band!) So the girls just totally lost it when I began to play the eerie scratchy music that I had been working on. When I see the nephew’s boy, only 10, I will show him my warm-up technique, just the way I did for Eddie back in 1972!
From My “New” poetry only book ; how long ’til the now bright flowers drop, now so well fastened until they stop, we’re in a season’s flowing stream, and in the fading sunlight’s beam, a spark of virtue that we all feel, within our dearest minds now sealed, so quickly across to the hills we hop, yet always feeling that we’re at the top, it just stopped raining hours ago, I have no needs, or any place to go, my heart streams on the breeze with ease, it’s so pleasing now to be among the trees, as each and every face will show, a love cast seed with room to grow, all of us are so well pleased, as the hours of the daylight slow.
